Where are we ?

Located in Suze-La-Rousse in the southern part of the Rhône Valley, between forests, truffles and lavender fields, La Borie is a single estate and one of the few in the Rhône Valley to carry the castle name.

Our region is part of the Drôme Provençale (northern Provence). We are 80 miles from the Mediterranean Sea.

Although we are officially part of the Southern Rhone Valley, we are south of the Northern Rhone Valley and north of the Southern Rhone Valley.

As a result, our wines are fresher than the average Southern Rhone Valley wine.

Château La Borie was built in the 18th century by Louis Charles de la Baume-Suze, a descendant of the Princes of Orange.

It served as an extension to the famous castle of Suze-La-Rousse to which it was connected by underground galleries.
