 2000 When
it was question of discovering the city Pierre Ciot chose to dive into the
look of the inhabitants. " Born in Marseilles " allows this real
transverse approach which escapes any arbitrary classification. In
the final, you will discover two thousand images and lives, faces,
situations or passions to mark the change of millennium ; beyond the
big number and beyond the spectacular, this collection of pen portraits
will stay for the history as a small slice of time and of the life of the
town where many of the parents of those that were born here come
themselves from elsewhere. Two
thousand photos as reflection of the authentic
variety of the city not excluding the heat, neither the brotherhood, nor
the sometimes supported colors which cross the seasons. A way of reporting
another Marseilles, more serene and completely opened to the world. The city is a studio.
