Louis Bories, the third son
and the father of Emile, sets to work very young and he
creates numerous estates which will not stay all in the
family, but which will keep quite the imprint: Rivoli,
Aboukir, Clinchant, Sainte Marguerite, Blat Touaria, La
Macta, Bel-Hadri, En-Naro, Aïn-Tellout, Sainte Marie. At
Bel-Hadri Louis shows the way to his son and he digs 200 km
of drains, in swampy lands, to return them cultivable, doing
himself, with his workers, the pipes of cement which he will
bury in border of the plots of land.
The wife of Louis Bories, Marie, born Collar, and her
children contract there the malaria from which they will
suffer all their life. Louis and Marie have had 7 children
whom were worth to their mother the medal of the French
family. In 1939, Emile is 21 years old. He will stay six
years to the service of his country France. Taken out chief
warrant officer class I, curiously, he will never ask that
his condition of war veteran to be recognized. Curiously
because he would have been so the 3rd consecutive member of
the family to be recognized by his peers, in a civil manner
and militarily.
In 1983 Emile will be done Knight of the Merit Agricultural,
following in it the tracks of his forefathers. Henri the
grandfather and Louis, his father were, both Commander of
the Agricultural Merit and Officer of the Legion of Honor,
for military reasons.
